Taree Rescue Squad

Now Recruiting General Land Rescue Operators

General Land Rescue Operators will be trained in all forms of land rescue. This includes cutting people free from their vehicle with the jaws of life after a serious accident, abseiling down a cliff to rescue someone who has fallen, climbing a ladder up a tree to free a stranded animal or even down a drain to rescue some ducklings. You will gain a NSW State Rescue Board number, numerous Nationally Recognised certificates and be supplied with all necessary equipment to carry out the duties of an accredited General Land Rescue Operator. Most rescue operators take between 3 to 9 months to become a fully accredited on-call Rescue Operator.
